Abstract
Chronic mesneteric ischemia is a rare disease, caused by obstruction of abdominal visceral arteries in more than 2 major branches. This disease is charcterized by the clinical triad-postprandial abdominal pain, sitophobia and weight loss.
Among the etiologic factors for chronic mesenteric ischemia, atherosclerotic obstruction of major isceral branches is the most frequent cause whereas abdominal aortic aneurysm(AAA) around the level of celiac axis and superior mesenteric artery is
a
rare
condition requiring a demanding surgical procedure.
Recently we experienced the chronic mesenteric ischemia in 29 year old male patient from the obstruction of superior mesenteric artery(SMA) and marked stenosis of celia axis by suprarenal AAA, who was treated successfully by graft replacement of
aneurysm and reconstruction of major abdominal visceral branches.
